At the atmospheric monitoring station Lutjewad on the North Sea coast (University of Groningen), biweekly integrated CO2 samples are taken by absorption of CO2 in sodium hydroxide for Radiocarbon-analysis. Samplers collect either continental winds only, or North Sea winds only.
